    Mission

    APA works with local civic leaders who are transforming Haiti’s education system towards liberation, equipping generations of Haitians with the knowledge, skills, and mindsets to achieve their full potential.

    Vision

    APA envisions a collective movement of local civic leaders working to decolonize education by centering on Haitian history, culture, and identity — redefining leadership for us and by us.

    The APA Model

    Since 2014, APA has engaged over 600 teacher leaders, parent leaders, and school leaders to spur transformation within classrooms and across the entire community. APA is currently in an important stage of growth, deepening our impact within our partner communities and broadening networks of leaders creating change across Haiti.
